Not long ago I found myself going to the bathroom very frequently for a few days. I immediately thought I had a bladder or kidney infection. I thought I would go to an urgent care and tell them how I was feeling and grab some medicines. I quickly found out it was more serious than I thought. The doctor ordered a glucose test and discovered I had diabetes. From that day on, I have never been the same. The Diabetic You is a documentary that explores what Diabetes is and why this has become a world-wide epidemic. We will interview top medical professionals in the health and wellness field and see why some choose the natural way of treating or reversing the disease and why some are quick to medicate. We go in-depth to see the lives of amazing people who are living with Diabetes. Some are doing well and have controlled their condition, some have reversed it and some have done little and are facing some major issues.

 

We hope to bring awareness to the Diabetic community and find answers. Millions are walking around with this disease and have no idea they even have it. We want to reach those individuals and get them tested.  Countless people suffer from diabetes and want to get better, feel better and possibly reverse their condition or get it under control. We want to reach those people and share with them the amazing Dr’s and health care pros we have met along this journey. This is Charles journey, each individual journey will not be the same. But one thing is clear, there is a learning curve and there is shock, there are a score of feelings and emotions that accompany this diagnosis and Charles allows you into his world to share his amazing story along with others testimonies.

The film will be seen nationwide in theatres in USA and Europe and Canada. We will keep you posted with more information. Thankfully, the man seen in the video is getting the help he needs, we were able to find medical professionals to treat his teeth and medication for his health care needs.
